It's the craziest time of the YEAR!

I feel so overwhelmed!

Saturday we are having a yard sale; it's taken 3 weeks to prepare for it, and I really hate yard sales. There are always those people that show up at 4:30 in the morning, and what do you do with all the stuff that doesn't sell. We'll take it to the dump, but that feels so wasteful. Why am I worried about throwing away garbage? It doesn't make any sense.

Next Wednesday, our house should be done!!! Next Friday, I want the town inspector and our appraiser to come inspect it so we can move in ASAP. I can't wait, but I must be crazy to move all of my Christmas stuff! I feel like I've waited and waited; there is just NO way I can wait any longer. Every time I walk in, I feel like I'm dreaming! It is so beautiful! Thanks to good friends, the colors all came together well; I think! The only part I'm not looking forward to is the payment! Ouch! Growing up is no fun! My loan will close the Thursday after Christmas; how scary!

Christmas is in less than two weeks! Thankfully, I am done shopping! I love Christmas, and it will be awesome to spend it in my new home. It's Bryson's first Christmas, and I know it's just another day to him, but it's awesome to his mommy! I love to watch my kids counting down the days. It still makes me excited to watch them tear off those construction paper chains! Kiley tears the red; Ryan tears the green!

So, in the midst of all this, my stomach started hurting yesterday, and the doctor thinks my gallbladder is going haywire. I need an ultrasound. If it is that, I have to get my stinkin' gallbladder out! What! It turns out if you are female and have children you increase your risk! Does that seem fair? Seriously, what do the men have to do? They don't have childbirth, cramps, excess fat from pregnancy, stretchmarks, and the older they get the more mature and sexy they are supposed to be. Meanwhile, women get old, fat, and wrinkly. What is that?

Well, it is the most wonderful time of the year, and the craziest, happiest, grouchiest, time too. But, none of that matters. It only matters that it is Christmas, and Christmas is a blessing for so many reasons.

Thanks and Giving

Thankful for Blessings

We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful day out at Jacob and Amy's ranch. They are wonderful people, and we always have fun going to their beautiful home. Kiley loves to visit her best friend Kylie Kathleen, and both kids love to see the cows and horses! Amy prepared an amazing feast! It seriously looked like something out of a home and gardening magazine. She's awesome at stuff like that. Between Amy and my mom, all I had to prepare was rolls, thanks Golden Corral! Above is a slide show of our good time.

Other news is that Bryson could use some extra prayers. He is sick for the second time this month and back on steroids. We did everything in our power to keep him well, but when Kiley got sick, he managed to pick it up. Please, pray for him. If you go to the temple, put his name in. I'm trying everything to keep him healthier. I am even changing his baby bottles since I read that some are unsafe in the microwave. Ultimately, it is only Heavenly Father who can help. Thanks for the prayers.

What I love about you. . .

This post is dedicated to my family. I would like to say something I love about each of them.

My mom: Where do I start. She is my rock. She listens to all of my complaints, my joys, my sorrows, my excitments. She puts up with me no matter how grouchy I am. She is the first one I want to tell my news to. She loves my kids so much. She is a great Nana! The kids love her so much especially Ryan. I swear he would live with her if I would let him. I am grateful for her help on the days when I feel like I'm going crazy!

Chris: He is a fabulous husband, and I consider myself the luckiest wife in the world. He treats with respect. He always says "I love you" before he hangs up the phone with me. He is a super hard worker. He's an amazing dad. The kids adore him. He alwasys acts excited to see them and seems disappointed if they are all in bed when he gets home. He holds the priesthood, and that's amazing. Oh, did I mention, he's hot. I love his dimples and his nice body!

Kiley: She is so smart! She loves to learn and she is so kind to her brothers. She has been sick for a couple of days, and it is driving her crazy to not be with Bryson. She loves that baby. It is awesome to watch her teach Ryan new things, watch out for both of the boys, and always lend Mommy a hand. She loves to make up jokes and games. She is quite the in charge personality. She keeps us all in line.

Ryan: He is my ball of excitement! I love him so much. He is always full of fun ideas and things you never thought of. He is all boy. He loves Transformers, TMNT, Spiderman, helping dad, and building things. He keeps me running, but he is definately my entertainment.

Bryson: He is the sweetest baby in the world. He is only 6 months old, but he is always smiling. He constantly lets me know that he loves me. He reaches for me, gives kisses, and pinches my cheeks to show me he cares.

I love my family and I am so grateful for all they do for me. I don't do enough to show them everyday that I couldn't live without them. I have such a wonderful life because of the wonderful people I am blessed to know.

Hey everyone. Sorry it has been so long since I've posted.

First things first, Bryson has been quite sick for a couple of days. He has some sort of virus which has irritated his airway. He is back on steroids for a little while, hopefully, he will come off today. Please, keep him in your prayers. It is so scary not knowing what to do for him. The doctors here don't know enough about his condition, so they aren't extremely helpful. We saw the pulmonologist last Friday; he was full of pessimist ideas and worst case scenarios. I just need him to be okay, so please please keep in in your prayers and thoughts. I need that happy little boy more than life itself.

Everything else is fine. The fall tradition of going to the pumpkin patch was fun. This year the kids got to take a friend, so Raynee and Clint came with us. The kids were so cute in their matching shirts, and it was hillarious to hear all the whispers about me having two sets of twins and a baby. Do I look crazy?

The kids had a very happy Halloween. They are so cute! They went as Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and a Lost Boy. I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but I must admit, those kids make me melt. Now, if I only knew what to do with all that stinking candy.

Our house is coming along. We're grateful for that! Now that it has been sheet rocked it really looks like a house.

Family Pictures

Hey all! We've had quite an exciting week or two! We took Bryson to the doctor on Wednesday. We discussed the possibility of using lasers to help correct his breathing problems. We are fasting today for an answer, and we'll let you know what we decide. There are pros and cons to the laser. The pros are that it could make Bryson breathe easier, require the use of steroids less frequently, and allow Bryson to have a more normal life. The negative aspects of this surgery are its risks of a tracheotomy if something goes wrong, it may not prove as effective as we hoped, and it's another surgery with another set of anesthesia etc. So, we are facing a difficult decision! To me, this is the hardest part about being a mother.

Other excitement includes our house being started! We are so excited. I have never looked at dirt and concrete and thought it was so beautiful. Sorry, there's no pics. Chris has them on his computer, but when I get them, I'll post the show! It's really great to see it started, and it's been a long time coming!

Also, we finally got family pictures; however, I remembered why it has been so long. It was crazy. Bryson never cries, but he cried through the whole ordeal. Ryan was bored easily with the whole thing. So, the pictures aren't the best we've ever had, but they will have to do till next year. (It will take that long to forget the agony of picture taking with three kids!)

We took Bryson to the doctor on Friday. It was just a routine appointment. Everything is looking good; we are trying a new allergy medicine, and we are hopeful this will help. We still have some nights that worry Mommy; however, we feel really blessed at how much better he is. Throughout it all, he keeps smiling! We can't take him to church, and it breaks my heart. I see all of these people come in with their adorable babies and I want Bryson to be there. I know it's for the best though. Whatever we have to do to keep him well.
Everyone, please meet the baby who is always smiling!

Friday, after a very quick trip back from Tucson (thanks for going Ashlee) we also had fun at the PLS group party. I am so grateful for all the people Chris works with. Everyone is so nice and a lot of fun to be with.

Tom, Chris, and Reed trying to grill!

Those hotdogs must be delicious!

Carmen, Ryan, Chris, and Marco!

Ryan, Kylie Kathleen, and Kiley Reanna
At the party we had Kiley's best friend Kylie because her mom just had a baby. (Congrats Amy!) The girls are so cute. Kiley believes you must have the same name to be best friends. I overheard her tell Ryan one day, "I'm sorry you'll never have a best friend." I asked her why she would say such a thing? She knowingly replied it was because she had never even met another Ryan.

Hey everyone! I seem to have a lot of free time at home, so I guess we will join the blogging wagon. I'm not very good at this, but here it goes.

The kids are doing great! Kiley is in kindergarten, which is really hard to believe, and she loves it! She loves to chase all the boys and picks cute clothes every morning. She just learned to tie her shoes, and she is so proud. She is doing great, and we are so proud of her. She is going to Pima since we were planning on building a house out there. Well, we decided not to build, but now we are asolutely stuck and running out of options. We plan on keeping her in Pima until we decide what to do. She says she always wants to be a Roughrider! She loves horses, so for her Pima is a great fit.

Ryan is going to preschool and really enjoying it. He seems to be doing fine. I can't imagine trying to be his teacher. He is quite the active boy and very stubborn. It took me over an hour just to get him to learn my cell phone number. He's really hyper, but he's also really sweet. He loves to give hugs and kisses and is always trying to make us laugh.

Bryson is doing awesome. Thanks again for all of your prayers. He got a little rough sounding a couple of weeks ago, but he had just got his immunizations. He didn't go into retractions. We treated him with steroids and it seemed to improve. It is such a relief just knowing what is wrong and how to treat it. We continue to pray he will do better and better. We are aprehensive about what winter will bring, but all we can really do is hope for the best. He is such a sweet and happy baby. He's finally gaining weight, and he's up to 14lbs. 5oz.! He loves to roll over and smile at everyone all the time. He is the easiest baby I've ever had. He almost beat Ryan when it comes to sleeping through the night! He's awesome, and we are so blessed to have him here.

Chris and I are fine. I'm happy to be a stay at home mom. I admit, I get a little stir crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home and watch my little ones grow.

Chris still works all the time, but he's got a great job. We feel really blessed that he gets to work with great people in a great environment. He's doing what he loves, and I'm really proud of my surveyor!

We hope all is well with each of you. I'll try to figure this blog thing out as I go.

Chris and Ashley
