Hey, I have become a terrible blogger. I am so sick lately that I find it hard to function let alone blog, but here's a quick update. . .
I have been so sick. Then, to top it all off the whole family came down with the stomach flu! Well, by the time it got to me, it did me in. I couldn't quit throwing up. After an afternoon of IV fluids, I was still so sick, so I ended up in the hospital for a night. I want to give a great big thanks to Hope, Amy, MaryAnn, and Suzanna for all of their help. I am feeling better now. The stomach bug is gone but the prego nausea is not. I'm hoping it won't be too much longer. Usually I recover by 14 weeks; I'm 12 today, so only 2 more.
The kids are doing well. Ryan is having a hard time. Ki is gone all day, Mommy just throws up all day, and Brysons tries to hit him in the head with whatever is in Bryson's hand (We are trying hard to break him of this). So, Ryan's world is being rocked and he is not exactly enjoying it.
Kiley is doing awesome in school. I talked to her teacher the other day and got a rave review about how smart and kind she is. She has a wonderful teacher, and it felt so good to hear such awesome comments. Lately, I don't know what I would do without that little girl. She is so smart, she listens so well, and she really is kind.
My wonderful husband and my mom also deserve a shout out. I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in this life, but I would be lost without these two.
Last, I won my first contest ever! Yay! I never win anything. I almost blew it because I've been so out of the loop, but thanks to Jenn at Girly Dos and my friend Amy, I won curlers! This may seem silly to some, but I am so pumped that I won anything! I mean I have zero luck, so this is great!

Yikes! I can't believe I mispelled "hear". So this is what happens to retired school teachers! GAG!
I am glad everyone is over the flu bug. That must have been aweful! Thank you so much for the cute little dress! It is so dang adorable! I absolutely love it! Please let me know if you ever need anything. It's not fun to be sick and then to have to take care of everything and everyone on top of that...yikes! Please let me know if I can ever help!

I hope you start to feel beter soon! Pregnant sick is awful. And its even worse when you get the flu on top of it!

Wow i am so sorry you are so dang sick! I hope it stops soon, let me know what i can do to help, the great thing is, is that you get to get a sweet little person out of all of this!
It will end soon. This little one just wants to make a statement, so you will have a story to tell about him/her that is better than all the rest. :) If I could this part for you - I would!! Call me if you need anything, even it is just a hug and some encouragement.

Sorry to hear you have had that terrible and wonderful thing called morning sickness. It's great to have that reassurance that the hormones are going crazy, but it completely sucks too! The great news is (hopefully) you won't have to deal with it too much longer and you can start enjoying the fantastic second trimester! MY FAVORITE! I am so happy for you Ashley. I can't wait to see tummy pictures... =)
